Welcome to this short series of informal evening seminars featuring contemporary training DVDs.

Most evenings are structured as ‘double bills’.

I will introduce each film, and there’ll be group discussion afterwards.

Timings

We gather from 6.45pm for a 7pm start, finishing at 10pm (except for The Work on 15 September, which ends at 9.30pm).

B.A.S.E BabyWatching

This cutting-edge, attachment-based approach was devised by paediatrician KarlHeinz Brisch in conjunction with Vichy camp survivor and psychoanalyst Henri Parens. Utilised in several countries, it aims to reduce bullying and fear in elementary schools while promoting sensitivity and empathy.

Embracing Closeness

Accompanying two couples and a single mother, all seeking to cultivate warm and loving, parent–child relationships from the outset, this film explores Dr Brisch’s SAFE training model and the role of secure attachment on child development.

The Work

This  powerful, raw group therapy session tracks the progress of several free men experiencing dissatisfaction in their lives. Their encounters with level-four convicts in Folsom Prison USA over a 4-day retreat offers a mix of tough and tender love – enabling the visitors to reflect afresh on and take responsibility for their actions.
